Banff- Canmore and Invermere surprise Proposals

A surprise proposal is one of the most genuine and emotional moments in a couple’s story, and I absolutely love being there to document it.  I photograph surprise proposals all across the Canadian Rockies — from Banff, Canmore, and Lake Louise to beautiful spots around Invermere and the Columbia Valley.

To keep the moment completely natural, I usually hide nearby with a long lens, capturing the excitement, the nerves, and that unforgettable “yes” without interrupting the magic. These real, unscripted moments are some of my favorite to photograph, and it’s an incredible privilege to help couples remember the beginning of their next chapter.
