This incredible LGBTQ wedding at Eagle Eye at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort was the perfect celebration of love, adventure, and connection in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Located high above Golden, British Columbia, Eagle Eye offers some of the most breathtaking mountain views in BC, making it an unforgettable location for an intimate mountain wedding or elopement.
These two brides chose to celebrate their wedding day surrounded by dramatic alpine scenery, peaceful mountain air, and their closest loved ones. From emotional vows to quiet moments overlooking the mountains, the entire day felt authentic, relaxed, and full of genuine emotion. As an Invermere wedding photographer, documenting real moments like these in such an incredible setting is always inspiring.
One of the things I truly love about photographing LGBTQ weddings and elopements is capturing every couple’s unique connection and story in a natural and meaningful way. Every wedding deserves to feel welcoming, comfortable, and true to who you are, and it was such an honour to photograph this beautiful celebration at Eagle Eye Restaurant.
After the ceremony, we explored the mountain landscape around Kicking Horse Mountain Resort for wedding portraits while taking in the panoramic Rocky Mountain views surrounding Golden, BC. The combination of the stunning scenery, adventurous atmosphere, and emotional moments made this wedding day unforgettable.
If you are planning an LGBTQ wedding or elopement in Golden, Invermere, Canmore, Banff, or anywhere in the Canadian Rockies, Eric Daigle Photography captures authentic mountain weddings with a relaxed and adventurous approach focused on real emotions and timeless photography.
